Got a call claiming to be Amazon, saying my Amazon Prime payment was about to be taken. They told me to press one if I wanted to chat with a Customer Service Manager to cancel. I hung up straight away, but it felt like the same people who called earlier when I asked about a payment. That person wasn’t bothered to explain anything, just kept pushing me to cancel and even wanted me to download some app to complete a cancellation form with Amazon. Seems totally fishy and pointless. I reckon that software was a scam to steal my bank info.
