Got a strange email from some gmail address saying they're interested in loft extensions and kitchen refurbishments, and that they want to start the job straight away. They asked if I could provide a quote if they send over building plans. Also wanted to know when I’m free. The message was signed off by a Matthew Tyler from Campbell Dental Practice with a UK number starting +44. Bit odd, not sure if it’s legit or some sort of scam.

Something similar happened to us like the person above - they asked for bank statements and payroll details to give us a quote. The company they mentioned in the email doesn’t show up on Companies House at all.

Seems like I got some random email asking for a quote on accounts and payroll. Tried the mobile number, but it doesn’t actually ring through, just takes you to some kind of automated voice system link. Bit strange if you ask me.
