Got a call on my home phone from a lady saying she was from Microsoft, sounded like she was from some call centre with a thick asian accent and loads of background chatting. She said my PC was infected with a virus and that hackers were using it for dodgy stuff. I played along a bit and then told her thanks but I'd reach out to Microsoft myself. She ended up swearing at me before hanging up. Totally a scam, just them trying to get remote access to your computer pretending to be Microsoft.
