So, a bloke rang me claiming to be from BT Openreach and asked if it was me on the line - even used my name! He went on about some issue with the internet. I told him I’d sort it out with our actual provider. Seemed fishy since the internet account is under my husband’s name, not mine! Does BT Openreach know people are getting calls like this from mobile numbers? I’m pretty sure it wasn’t legit and reckon it ought to be flagged as suspicious.

Got a call saying it was bank security, just some automated voice. I just ended the call straight away. These keep coming through on my BT home phone, even though I'm on the TPS list. They all show up with fake mobile numbers. Thinking about cutting off the landlines completely since my mobile provider actually blocks these nuisance calls. Really wonder why BT can't do something similar?
