Got a call saying my national insurance number’s been frozen and if I don’t hit 1 they’re sending the cops after me. Honestly, this was a proper laugh, didn’t expect something that daft today!

Got a robocall with this super posh accent saying it was from the National Crime Agency or some official database, telling me my NI number was linked to fraud. Honestly, if that was true, I’m pretty sure the NCA would have shown up face to face. Didn’t bother sticking around to hear what the scam was about (figured it’d want me to ring a pricey number), but yeah, definitely one of those dodgy calls.
