I honestly believed I was calling IDMobile. I wanted to cancel my contract within the 14 day cooling off period because the signal was rubbish. Turns out it was a scam call. They were convincing enough for me to think they were the real deal, and foolishly I gave my phone to some driver they sent to pick it up. Luckily, I spotted the error in time and stopped the Uber driver (who was just doing his job) from dropping it off somewhere in Redhill. I've never fallen for scams before and now I see there were loads of warning signs, but they managed to talk me out of noticing them.
