I got a call from a number I didn’t recoginse, so I looked it up on this site right away. It’s helped me loads before and saved me some cash too. This was just a one time ring, but I reckon there will be more to come as usual. I even replied saying I was checking the number on here, but no reply at all.

Got a phone call from this number asking me to take part in a MyBuilder survey. I found it a bit odd that they asked to record the conversation, so I double-checked with MyBuilder's customer service. They told me the call was legit and came from their staff, so this number should be trustworthy.

Got a call from this number the other day. The recorded voice said they were from HMRC and mentioned they had some letter returned from me and that I was supposedly going to court. The caller didn’t give any name or even bother to use mine, which seemed a bit dodgy. They told me to press 1 to talk with an officer, but I didn’t trust it and just ended the call.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with MyBuilder. They already had my name and knew about the work I’d had done. They wanted me to give a review and some feedback. Without asking, they then switched me over to some kind of recording. Seeing what others have said here, I’ve gone ahead and blocked that number.

A bloke rang me saying he was calling from Mybuilder about a listing I’d put up on their site not long ago. He seemed well informed about the job I posted and mentioned they were collecting opinions. He asked if I minded doing a quick survey, and I agreed, finished it in less than a minute. The questions focused just on the website itself, but the feedback related to the job, so it felt like a genuine call to me.

Like a few others have said, I got a call from someone claiming to be my builder wanting feedback on some work and if I was happy to close it out. I recorded the chat but as soon as I hung up, something felt off - seemed like they might’ve been attempting to capture my voice. Lucky for me, I wasn’t in the mood to talk properly so I was kind of snappy and didn’t say much clearly.

Got a strange phone call the other day. Like some others have said, the bloke said he was ringing from MyBuilder and had a northern accent, maybe from Newcastle. He mentioned that the call would be recorded and then there was a beep. After that, he asked if I’d posted a recent job and if I’d found someone for it. Didn’t try to get any personal info or anything, just asked if I had any other comments, said thanks, and ended the call. It only lasted a couple of minutes, but it felt a bit odd.
