This number rang me up saying there was a payment about to go through on my visa debit card. They told me to press 1 if I hadn’t allowed it. I just ignored and ended the call. I doubt any genuine bank would contact me like that.

Right, I have to admit I got it wrong earlier. About 48 minutes ago I said this was definitely a scam, but then I got a ring from an estate agent explaining it was legit. Turns out it was about the survey my buyer wanted done on my property. I get it a bit better now.

I got a call from 01536 534123, but when I picked up, it was just dead silence, like no one was actually there. It seems like the whole thing is run by a robot or something. After that, they sent me a text from the same number claiming they want to arrange a survey - felt really dodgy, like one of those scams.

be careful with this number, i looked it up on google and its dodgy. they try to get you to let them in for some house survey but I never agreed to anything like that. also, if you try calling back it wont pick up. I havent bought this place or anything, just used rightmove to search for houses. many others say the same about this number, they call with all sorts of reasons but its just a scam.
