Absolutely! I received the same message claiming £4000 in compensation for a car accident - which is rather amusing as we just had an accident. The number they provided for a response was 08001120039, but we didn’t engage with that at all. There’s no clarity on who the firm actually is; just the number from the text and the one we’re meant to reply to. By the way, these folks don't actually possess your number; it's merely an automated system that’s busy fishing through various numbers. Whichever tactic they’re deploying is maddeningly frustrating!
