Got a call from this call centre, a woman with an Asian accent saying she was from Amazon, asking if I’d recently bought an iPhone. I told her no, and then she went on about someone using my name to open an account. She wanted me to give her a code she sent me by text so she could “shut down” the bogus account. I wasn’t having any of it and gave her a bit of a mouthful before cutting her off. The funny part? The text actually said Amazon wouldn't ever ask you for that code. Absolute scam if you ask me!
