2 monthsWatch out, this is definitely a scammer or hacker. I got caught out by this number myself a couple of years ago. They called asking a simple yes/no question about a payment and I actually believed it was legit. My card got frozen for a while and I had to call my bank straight away. Seriously, be cautious. Make sure you check with the real company directly or look up their official number on Google before giving anything away.Google1 yearThey wanted a simple yes or no, and told me if I didn’t reply they'd block my card. I ignored it, then right before that, they sent a text claiming to be from my bank, saying I’d get a message like this. Felt pretty dodgy to me.2 yearsThey were trying to get my bank info, total scam!2 yearsThis number pinged me a message at 4 in the morning claiming it was my bank, asking me to reply YES or NO about some payment. It mentioned something about CARCRAFTSMANESSENTIALS which I’ve never even come across! I had to get in touch with my bank's Fraud Team and spent like 30 minutes getting it all sorted. Watch out for texts like these and don’t ever respond or pick up calls that say they’re from your bank - it’s dodgy stuff.NOFraud Team3 yearsI recently got a text that said: "Lloyds Bank has flagged a transaction on your debit card ending in 8924. It was processed on the 5th of November 2023 at 20:47:56 for £10.91 at MOBILE SUICA APPLE. We've halted this payment from going through and have cancelled it. Please let us know if this transaction was authorised by replying with YES or NO. If we don’t hear from you, we might block future card payments. You could also see this notification in your mobile banking app."Lloyds BankNO3 yearsReceived a message indicating that there was an issue with transferring funds for a recent order and requested a reply. It seemed rather dodgy, especially since it came from a legitimate phone number; typically, banks don’t reach out via actual numbers when addressing such matters.3 yearsI've been targeted by con artists claiming to be law enforcement, stating that my card had been used for unauthorised transactions. They proceeded to request all my personal information. It felt quite convincing, as they even provided a crime reference number.Submit Your Own Report (07402 332746)
