I got conned by this guy who I met on a dating site through Facebook. He gave his name as Tomasz Daniel - Dan, but later on I spotted him with a different identity, saying he was Cristian. He said he was widowed, that his wife had died two years ago in Aberdeen, and that he’d moved to Hertfordshire for a fresh start. He also said his daughter was living in Poznan with his mum looking after her. Turns out it was all made up. He spun a really detailed and convincing tale. I’m usually pretty wary, but somehow this romance scammer managed to trick me. Stay well clear of him!

I came across someone called Benson on Facebook dating, says he’s from Germany. He mentioned his wife passed away three years back and that he has a daughter. He also told me he works as a pipeline engineer and lives in Poole!

So this guy, same one who said he's Joe Lazar from Poland but now staying in Leeds, wanted to meet up. Then out of nowhere, he had to jet off to Turkey for some work thing. He even sent me a photo of Mark Lilly at the airport. When I did a reverse image search, it actually showed Mark's Instagram profile. Pretty fishy if you ask me.

Had a very similar run-in. The bloke called himself Joe Lazar, said he was from Poland and mentioned his late wife and that his daughter was living with his mum over there. Something felt off so I tried a reverse image search and ended up finding a Mark Lilly on Instagram - turns out he’s an American pastor or something. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Got a message from someone claiming to be Joe Lazar in Poland. But he definitely sounded Nigerian to me. He was telling this whole story about losing his wife and being left to look after his little girl on his own. Yeah, right 🙄 Total online dating scam if you ask me.
