Right when I noticed a dodgy transaction alert from my bank, I also received a text from these lot. Definitely some kinda scam going on here.

I received a rather dodgy text from what I presumed was my bank, requesting I respond with a 'Y' or 'N' to confirm a hefty transaction linked to a company I do business with. However, they managed to butcher the name just enough to raise my suspicions. Naturally, I replied with a firm 'N', but then they went on to insist I needed to update my security details. That's when the alarm bells really started ringing! Since then, they've bombarded me with six calls today in a bid to get me to take the bait. I've had no choice but to block that number, along with another that seems to be connected to these persistent calls. It's all rather infuriating!

Got a message from this number saying someone had used my bank card without permission at 4.30 in the morning. When I checked my banking app, it showed a payment got stopped at exactly that time. Not sure if the text was legit or a trick, but I decided not to tap the "contact them" link in the message and just went ahead and cancelled my card.

I received a call from individuals posing as representatives from my bank's fraud unit.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from the fraud squad but when I checked with my bank, they said they hadn’t reached out to me. Turns out they had already blocked the suspicious transactions right when these people called. Please don’t pick up or trust anything they say, it’s definitely a scam.
