I saw a pop-up on my screen named Strike-Checkout and it seemed really dodgy. I was just trying to pay something through Lloyds Bank, and suddenly the payment got blocked. The thing is, the payment was genuine, but this Strike thing showed up and copied my card info and payment details. Anyone got more info about this Strike-Checkout? Seems pretty risky to me.

Got a text claiming it was from Lloyds bank, total scam. Never reply to those messages. I spoke to Lloyds and they told me they never use mobile numbers to get in touch!!!!!!

Got a call from this number saying they were Lloyds Bank. I had just put a bet on Sky Bet which got cancelled, then they messaged me asking to reply “yes” if I actually made the bet. Very suspicious!

Got a call that was trying to trick me, claiming to be from my bank. Best to just hang up and not answer back.

It was nothing dodgy. They asked me to just respond with yes or no, so I called my bank to double check, and it turned out it was completely genuine.

Someone called claiming to be from Lloyds bank, but it felt fishy straight away. I didn’t give them any details, obviously. It’s crazy how these scammers try to trick people by using big bank names. Just be careful and don’t fall for it!

I have no idea how they managed to get hold of my card info and phone number, especially since I know exactly where I last used the card. Definitely a SCAM!

Seemed pretty convincing at first!

They even told me to end the call and ring back using their app if I was unsure.

Good thing I actually did that.
