Phone number ☎️ 07401109124 👆 is reported as a number frequently linked to sophisticated banking scams targeting customers of Lloyds, Halifax, MBNA, and similar financial institutions. Callers and texters impersonate bank representatives, warning of suspicious card activity and urging recipients to confirm transactions or transfer funds, often using deceptive follow-up messages that mimic genuine bank communications. While some users have confirmed its connection to official third-party services acting for these banks, many cases reveal fraudulent intent, including SIM card fraud and unauthorised debit transactions. Victims are advised to exercise caution, avoid replying or sharing personal information, and verify any alerts directly through official bank contacts. This number is widely blocked and reported due to persistent harassment and scam attempts.

2 yearsI think this number belongs to some scammers who tricked the phone provider, 1p mobile, into sending them a new SIM card. After that, they managed to use it to make lots of debit card transactions online and got into my mum’s Lloyds accounts as well. They also tried to get into a Halifax account, but thankfully they didn't succeed.LloydsHalifax2 yearsI got a text from this number asking if I’d made a payment to Vinted that apparently was declined, asking me to reply yes or no. Thing is, Halifax usually sends texts with their name clearly on them, so something felt fishy. I didn’t reply straight away and checked my banking app after. I phoned the bank, gave them my name and birth date but when they asked for my postcode to confirm, I got a bit suspicious. I asked if there was another way, but they just abruptly said that was the only method and hung up with a “have a nice day.” Definitely a scam, felt dodgy from the start!VintedHalifaxHALIFAX3 yearsGot tricked by someone pretending to be Halifax bank. The actual bank spotted weird activity on my account straight away. It felt terrifyingly convincing!Halifax3 yearsSomeone called me pretending to be from Lloyds bank, trying to get my details. They told him there'd been some big dodgy transactions on his card. It all sounded really legit and well put together. The call came from a mobile - 07401109124. I wasn’t convinced, so called Lloyds myself and turns out it’s a total scam! The thieves have already used the card for £1800 while we were on the phone! Do not pick up if this number rings you! Block it, delete it and report it straight away. Absolute scam alert! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬Lloyds3 yearsIt’s an outright banking con! Make sure to block and report this scam. They masqueraded as Lloyds Bank, claiming they’d halted a credit card transaction and were seeking my confirmation about whether I’d authorised the payment and all that nonsense. Just a clever ploy to fish for information!Lloyds Bank3 yearsSeem like I've encountered yet another phoney banking con. This time, they’re masquerading as Lloyds Bank! Absolutely outrageous!Lloyds Bank3 yearsI got a text from someone saying they were from Halifax, but it felt dodgy. Then, not long after, got a call from a bloke also claiming to be Halifax. He was saying I had to set up a new account and move all my money over. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.Halifax3 yearsThis number keeps sending me texts pretending to be from Lloyds Bank, saying someone tried to use my card for online shopping. I checked the number on some caller ID site and realised it’s a scam. I just ignore the messages now and blocked the number. Shortly after, I received a text message from this number stating that Halifax had turned down my payment and instructed me to respond with 'yes' or 'no' to verify my identity for account updates. Naturally, I refrained from replying and opted to ring Halifax directly using their official number instead. Nevertheless, it does leave one feeling uneasy, pondering whether they possess the capability to intercept calls that inadvertently lead you to their fraudulent schemes.DVLAHalifax4 yearsGot a call saying they were from Lloyds Bank.
