Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me claiming he was from EE. He said since EE and BT had merged, they were sending me a new SIM card and that it would arrive today when I wasn’t home. Then he said he’d transfer me to his supervisor. The supervisor repeated the same story and then put me on hold. I expected them to ask for more info but after a moment I figured it must be a scam, so I ended the call. They tried calling me back right away but I ignored it. Since then, I’ve had a couple more calls from similar numbers but I haven’t picked up.
