Someone called Mr K Khan was listed as a payee on a bank account that isn’t mine, according to what I found.

Got a message from 07399852738 saying that some Mr K Khan had been added to my Lloyds Bank account. It asked me to click the link to fix it if I hadn’t added him. Problem is, I don’t even have an account with Lloyds! I wouldn’t trust or tap on any links like that, even if it seemed legit. Honestly, it’s best to ignore these dodgy messages and never respond to them at all.

Got a text from Lloyds saying a payment to Mr K Khan has been arranged. Except I don't even have a Lloyds account! The message told me to click a link if I hadn’t done it. Seemed fishy to me.

Got a text from 07399852738 that said EE can't process my recent bill. It warned me to update billing details so I won't get cut off, with a link like [#][#]eebilling-updated[###]. When I tried to open it, my phone flagged it saying it’s a risky site that might try to get me to install bad software or steal personal info like passwords or bank details. Definitely looks like a scam, be careful with these messages!

Got a text saying EE couldn’t sort out my bill and it had a link that looked dodgy, probably a phishing scam. Definitely don’t click on anything like that!

Got a weird message saying “Deceptive site ahead”. It warned me about this site called [#]eebilling-updated[###] trying to trick me into giving away personal info like passwords or card details or even installing dodgy software. The message was from EE telling me they can’t handle my latest bill and I should update my billing info quick to avoid problems. Pretty sure it’s a scam so don’t click on anything!
