I got a call from this number saying I owed a penalty charge notice and that today was the final day to pay with a 50% reduction. They sent a link that looked like a council website but weirdly asked for my car’s registration, not the actual PCN reference. When I tried ringing the number back, it just went to an EE voicemail with a quite friendly sounding message left. Definitely seemed dodgy to me.

I got a call from someone shouting, wanting to know where I live. They said they were delivering a package but wouldn't tell me which courier or the address they were coming from. Didn’t even bother using my name. It was quite aggressive and I found the yelling pretty off-putting.
