Got a call on my mobile from some recorded voice claiming to be from immigration or something. Only my close mates and family have got my number, so it was kinda strange. The message asked me to press 1 for English or 2 for Chinese. I didn’t press anything, but then heard a quick phrase in some language I didn’t recognise. I’ve never even lived abroad, always been in the UK. After that, some weird beeping sounds played, then the call just stopped. It’s a bit unsettling since I never shared my number anywhere. How did they manage to get hold of it?
