I just put the phone down immediately after some weird whispering and strange groan sounds from the other end.

As soon as I picked up, they just hung up on me. Tried ringing back but couldn’t get through. Pretty sure it’s a scam. I’ve blocked that number right away!

Got a voicemail from a number I didn’t know. There’s a lot of calls going on right now, so I’m guessing it’s dodgy since anyone legit wouldn’t usually phone me during the school day or just leave one ring.

The voice was really unclear, so I’m guessing it’s a scam. They had an accent that sounded Russian or maybe from somewhere abroad. Definitely not someone calling from the UK. Pretty sure it’s just a scam.
