I got a message from this number claiming to be Halifax, telling me to check out a link about a payment made from my account. The weird thing is, I don’t even have an account with them, so it’s clearly a scam.

Beware, this was a scam call. They pretended to be from Halifax and said they wanted to confirm a payment from my account. The message included a dodgy link that looked something like hhtps://halifax[###] login-review-3849 info. Definitely don’t click anything like that!
