Got a call from a no caller ID number, with someone saying they were from the HSBC fraud department. At first, it all sounded pretty genuine and they didn’t ask for any personal info. Then, out of nowhere, they wanted me to switch over to WhatsApp and tried to convince me to share my screen so they could install some sort of antivirus. When I refused, they started asking odd questions about my WhatsApp profile picture, which I found really strange. I ended the call, blocked the number, and reported it right away - not just to the phone company but also to HSBC.
