Got a call today at 12:02 from a voice bot, supposedly from the fraud team of my bank (they didn’t say which one). It mentioned a £120 payment made earlier for Edinburgh to London train tickets on my card. Obviously, they thought it was fishy since I’ve never bought tickets like that with this card. The message said to press 1 to approve or press 2 to cancel and get in touch with the City Police. Pretty classic train ticket scam, but now they’re throwing in a mention of the police to make it sound more legit.
