Got a message from Halifax sayin they confirmed a scheduled payment to m khamil on 7th Oct at 12:37. It said if I didn't make this payment, I should cancel it right away using some mypayee-auth link. The message came from a mobile number. Looks like a total scam, so watch out!

Got a dodgy text claiming it was Halifax saying a payment had been made to someone named M Khamil at 12:37 on 7/10. The message told me to cancel right away if I didn’t authorise it, with a link called mypayee-auth. Looks like a classic scam to me.
