Beware of a person calling himself Mark, who claims to fix and upgrade laptops and PCs. He’s just out to mess up your device and then charge you way more than it’s worth without giving any proof of payment. If you try ringing 07398732783, you’ll only get an answering machine, and text messages just get ignored. He operates under the name Laptop Repairs, but trust me, stay well clear. This individual with that mobile number is a total scammer and has been reported to the police for fraud.

Just got a message saying there’s a new payee request to mr c jones on my hsbc app. It asked me to check it out through a link that looked dodgy: f#]security-deauth(####J/hsbc. I don’t think it’s legit at all, coz banks usually don’t text you from random numbers like that or ask you to click links. Definitely seems like one of those hscb scams!

Got a dodgy text from someone pretending to be Royal Mail, saying I owed £1.99 for a parcel delivery charge. Total scam! Watch out everyone.

Got a text supposedly from Royal Mail asking me to pay £1.99 for postage, but it's a complete scam. I called Royal Mail to check and they confirmed it wasn’t from them. Be careful, don’t fall for it!

I got this text from someone pretending to be Royal Mail telling me to pay £1.99 or they'd send my parcel back. Seemed fishy, so I rang up Royal Mail’s official customer service just to check. They said it’s definitely a scam and not to pay anything.

This number sent me a text pretending to be Royal Mail, saying my parcel was stuck and I needed to pay £1.99 or they'd send it back. I clicked the link on my laptop and my browser warned me it was a scam site.

Got a text that seemed like it was from Royal Mail, looked pretty real at first. But then it hit us - why would Royal Mail have this number? The message was asking for a tiny £1.99 for some kind of overdue postage fee. Definitely feels like one of those delivery scams to me.
