I got a call from a bloke with a strong 'Indian' accent who said he was calling from BT about some dodgy activity on my internet. After hearing him out for a bit, I told him straight up that I knew it was a scam and that I’d report it to the cops. He laughed and said, what could the police do without proof? I pointed out he’d faked his number, so maybe nothing. Then he just hung up on me.
