I got a call pretending to be from Royal Mail, asking me to pay £1.99 via a link to collect a parcel. Royal Mail themselves have said they don’t operate like this, so I ignored it. Wouldn’t recommend clicking anything - best to block and report straight away.

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me up saying he was from Amazon, telling me an iPhone was bought using my name. He tried to get me to log onto my laptop so he could help me cancel the order. I told him my internet was playing up and asked if he could just email me instead. But he kept pushing, saying it had to be sorted right away. When I explained again about the dodgy WiFi, he just cut me off. Proper cheeky.

I never ordered anything but got a message asking me to pay a delivery fee through a link that’s definitely not from Royal Mail. Don't fall for it, it’s a classic scam! Never share your info with these lot!

Got a dodgy text supposedly from Royal Mail telling me to cough up for a parcel delivery. Total scam!

Received a message saying I need to pay for a package before it can be delivered. Thing is, I haven’t ordered anything at all and Royal Mail never asks for payment right at the doorstep like that. The link takes you to a site where they want your phone number and loads of personal info to ‘verify’ you. Feels really dodgy to me, I'd say it’s a total scam.

So I got this message saying Royal Mail’s got a parcel here for me, but I need to click some link and cough up £1.99 first. Nah, totally ignoring that one!

Got a text saying my package was set to be delivered but needed me to pay £1.99 for delivery. They sent me a link to pay online which seemed odd since the parcel I was waiting for was supposed to have free delivery. Didn't really trust it.
