My home phone rang and the caller said they were looking for someone named Kara. I didn’t even get a chance to pick up before they hung up! Anyway, I’ve blocked the number now, so no more annoying calls from them.

The insulation firm just gave us a ring. I told them to check with my husband about what insulation we used. They said they’d call back, but for now I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

I just got a call from that number and the woman on the other end used my old surname, which I actually changed about six years back. When I asked who she was, she just refused to tell me!

They never told me their name. Seems this is just another scam similar to one from the number 01248554300, trying to push fake problems with insulation!

Had a call from someone named 'Susan' claiming to be from 'Smart Insuations Ltd' in Luton, saying they wanted to set up a roof insulation check. But when I looked up the company on Companies House, it showed as dormant, and before that it was called 'Smarter Lawns Distribution Ltd', also dormant. Susan couldn’t give me her boss’s full name, the company’s phone number, postcode, or even a website. Honestly, her voice sounded weird, like maybe some sort of voice changer was being used. Seemed pretty dodgy and not at all professional to me.

Got a missed call from 07398234310 but there was no message left, so I’m guessing it might have been some kind of nuisance call.

Got a call from someone named Susan claiming to be a government rep for energy efficiency in my area, though she gave the wrong postcode. She said her system showed we recently had loft insulation put in, and wanted to check if it met standards. I told her we don’t have a loft here, but maybe the person living 17 floors up does, since they’re in the penthouse of the block. She hung up straight away after that. Have blocked the number now.

I got a call from 07398234310 saying I’m on some kind of national register because of loft insulation. Thing is, I live with a flat roof, no loft at all! They wouldn’t say who added me to this list and just ignored when I explained I don’t even have a loft. Proper strange!

Got a call from 07383234310 earlier, didn’t recognise the number so I picked up. A woman said she was calling from the local energy efficiency team or something like that. Didn’t feel right so I just hung up straight away.
