Another classic scam from an overseas call centre claiming to be from Microsoft. They quickly tried to get me to install some remote access software, and once I brought up anydesk, a second guy jumped on the call, acting like a supervisor, pushing me to open the program. As soon as he picked up that I wasn’t falling for it, they just cut the call. I sent a report via text to the UK Police’s fraud team at 7726. If we all did this plus logging these numbers here, it’d help take down these con artists. Just send a text saying ‘Call 07398194599’ to 7726 to report them.
