This morning on 4th Feb 2025 at around 11:05, my landline got a call from 07398129864, claiming to be my credit card company. They told me there were two dodgy transactions - one for £199 from Amazon and another for £899 related to some international money transfer. The automated message said to press 1 if I wanted to approve these, or press 2 to speak to their support. I’ve had calls like this previously, from other numbers though, but same woman’s voice and the same type of transactions, just different sums. Pretty clear it’s just another scam going around.
