They said they were trying to tackle dodgy traders, suggested I promote my IT consulting business in some national ads, and mentioned putting together a list of shady operators to alert the public. They asked if I was keen to back their initiative. When I said can they email information the tactic changed to be more pushy and had to give a yes or no answer. I said no and they hung up without any 'thanks for your time' etc.6 monthsDefinitely a dodgy call. A bloke rang me saying he was with "Regional Crime Enforcement" and was trying to promote honest businesses and highlight dodgy ones.
