Got a call from a number saying it was 02, telling me I needed a SIM swap and asking what time someone would be home. This is the second time it’s happened, coming from a number that looks quite alike. I checked with 02 themselves and they said it wasn’t them at all!

I tried to answer but the call ended before I got to the phone. They didn’t leave any voicemail either. My phone marked it as likely spam.

Got a random call and the second I answered, it just quickly said ‘goodbye’ and hung up.

Someone rang up saying they were from EE, but as soon as I mentioned I was with Vodafone, they suddenly switched their story. They kept going on about how Vodafone and EE had joined together and tried to convince me to take some kind of payout for being a customer. Quite fishy if you ask me.

Got a call from someone saying they were Vodafone, then outta the blue I got an auto text supposedly from Vodafone with a security code. I just ended the call immediately and let Vodafone know about it.
