Got a call from some bloke pushing rubbish services that weren’t real. Just ended up blocking the number straight away.

I saw an unknown number pop up on my phone and answered since I was expecting a call. I didn’t say anything at first and just listened. After a moment, a woman’s recorded voice came on claiming to be from HMRC. I hung up straight away because I’m aware HMRC never call like that. Seems like a proper scam and could easily trap someone who isn’t as cautious.
