Got a call from a lady claiming to be from Credit Investigations. She mentioned a letter about some unpaid debts and asked if I had any loans or credit cards. I told her I do have a credit card and asked who sent the letter and how much I supposedly owed. She wouldn’t say and just ended the call. Pretty rubbish attempt if you ask me.

Called back and it just kept ringing without anyone picking up. Ended up hanging up myself.

Got a call from someone saying they were with some sort of credit check company. They only asked for my first name and dodged when I tried to get them to say my last name. Then they started fishing for loads of personal details, which made me hang up straight away. Sounds like one of those call centres using auto-diallers - if you just stay quiet, the line stays silent, but say hello and you get that transfer beep and someone picks up. Could hear loads of noise in the background too, which was a dead giveaway.
