The moment I picked up and said "hello", some strange automated voice with a foreign accent just said "goodbye" and then the call just dropped.

Got a call from someone claiming to be John from O2, which seemed odd enough - I mean, John isn’t a typical name you'd expect from someone with Indian parents! When I asked him about O2 details, he totally fumbled and couldn’t give clear answers. Definitely a scam trying to pull a trick.
