My phone buzzed with a number I didn’t know. Right after I answered with a quick “Who’s this?” a woman’s recorded voice kicked in, saying she was from Indeed and had a job offer. She asked me to add her on WhatsApp. It all smelled fishy, so I just ended the call and blocked the number. The voice sounded really monotone, like they couldn’t care less. There’s no way this is genuinely from Indeed or a real job offer. I reckon it’s just a trick to get me chatting more and maybe grab some personal info or documents.
