Sounds like one of those dodgy HMLR scams for sure. Got a robotic lady’s voice going on about how "we’ve been trying to reach you a few times... press 1 for English, 2 for Chinese." Complete con, no doubt! I didn’t even bother pressing anything.

Absurd really. They phoned me and when I picked up, there was complete silence. Not a peep from their end. After a bit of quiet, I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Definitely a scam. They claim to be from HMRC but it’s just spam. I blocked the number and got rid of it straight away.
