Got a call from ESB Energy today, some guy named Sam, sounded like he was calling from India. He hung up after just under a minute. This was the first time I got a call from that exact number, although I'd had a call from ESB Energy before. Definitely seems like a scam to me.

Got a call from some busy call centre, definitely not from the UK. They asked for me by name, but I just hung up and blocked the new number that called me next.

Someone rang pretending to be from the council complaints dept. When i asked a few questions they just cut me off!

Someone rang up saying they wanted to check if I'd had my covid jab, weirdly they knew my address and date of birth. Then they went on about me supposedly having life insurance with Aviva! I asked them to prove who was making the payments, but they couldn’t confirm any details. I certainly wasn’t going to admit to anything as I don’t have anything through Aviva. They then said I’d get a phone call to make sure I got the vaccine, which I told them wasn’t their business at all. After that, they just hung up on me.

They said they worked for a research firm, but honestly, I think it was just a cover to push life insurance. They asked if I’d had my covid vaccine and then tried to get details about my life insurance. Wouldn’t recommend answering these calls.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Aviva life insurance. When I told them I don’t have any policy with them, they just ended the call. This is the second time they’ve rung me.
