Strangely, they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail. What’s more alarming is that it was after 10 in the evening when they rang. My mother has just been diagnosed with vascular dementia by the NHS, which raises serious concerns as it implies that her details, along with my phone number, have been shared with an external agency! Their timing suggests they might have been trying to reach someone elderly, possibly someone with dementia, which is frankly quite unsettling and potentially hazardous.
