Got a text off +44 7396 993650 saying "EE: Your latest bill didn't go through. Please visit: https://dodgy_link_removed/ to update your info." Thing is, I don’t even have EE as my provider, so no bills to pay with them. I’ve reported it here and on other sites. I also told my network, but they couldn’t trace the source - sounds like it’s spam from some random automated number. ** Just copy the text and send it to 7726, then when they ask, reply with the sender's number. They’ll sort it from there.**

Got a text from this number claiming to be 'EE' saying there was an issue with my latest bill and to follow a link to fix my details. Since I pay by Direct Debit, it felt fishy. So I double-checked with my bank and then rang EE using a number from their official site. Turns out it’s a scam that’s been going around. Definitely don’t click on that link!
