On the 12th of August 2024, I got a message like the one mentioned. When I rang the number using my landline, which doesn’t show my number, I was told the number I dialled wasn’t valid.

Beware of this scam! Got a text supposedly from EE claiming they couldn't take payment for an outstanding bill. They asked me to update my payment details by clicking a dodgy link: https://my-ee-billing.web.app. Definitely a phishing attempt, don’t fall for it!
