Suspected scam alert! I received a text message purporting to be from EE, claiming there was a problem with my payment. It prompted me to click on a link. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Got a text from someone saying they're EE, telling me there was a problem with my payment and to tap the link they sent. I popped open my EE app instead, and everything looked fine there. My bill isn’t due for another few days, so I figured maybe they were trying to charge me a bit early or something. Definitely looks like a dodgy scam link to me.

Someone called pretending to be O2 telling me my payment hadn’t gone through and asked me to send my info to a certain number. Didn’t fall for it and I’ve already reported the call.
