Got a message saying "HI MUM" from a number claiming to be one of my kids with a new phone number. Normally, when we switch numbers, messages come from the old number to let everyone know the change and include a name. This one was just some random anonymous message with no name at all. Plus, the number in the text didn’t match the one it was sent from. Definitely felt fishy. The number was 07355411062.

Got a text from someone claiming to be my mum but it was a total scammer trying to trick me. It's crazy how people stoop so low these days.

Just got a message from this number sayin “you ok mum?” then it had a different number (07355411062) asking me to text that one instead and to save it in my phone. Bit suspicious if you ask me!
