I’m a bloke, and the message started with “Morning Mum”. It asked me to text a new number. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Just got a message from this number at like 12.07am saying it was from my kid, but I’m a guy so no way it’s them. It said something like: “Hey mum :) just sending a quick note from my (Apple) watch to let you know I’ve switched to EE. Text me on my new number ~07356071422~ and please delete the old one x” Honestly, I’d steer clear of calling or messaging either of these numbers. Seems dodgy.

At just after midnight, this number sent me a message pretending to be my kid, but I’m a guy so no chance. It said something like “Hey mum:) just a quick note from my (Apple) watch to let you know I’ve upgraded with EE. Text me on my new number ~07356071422~ and delete the old one x”. I’d steer clear of this number and the new one they want you to contact.
