Got a message earlier today saying something like “Hope you’re good mum - here’s my new number after switching with O2: 07356042838. Drop me a text when you see this thanks x”. I didn’t reply or call back, just looked up the number. To me, it sounds like a total scam.

Got a message really late yesterday saying I'd got a direct debit for a Mercedes Benz Santander for £441. It asked me to click a link, which of course I ignored. I did have a quick look at my bank just in case and kinda freaked out for a moment. This kind of thing’s awful, especially thinking about old folks who might fall for it. These scammers are just terrible people.

Gets these dodgy texts all the time saying Mercedes Benz has taken a direct debit of £441.37... absolute disgrace! I'd say keep a close eye on your bank statements and save the message, just in case you need to report it to Santander. Feels like another round of harassment going on here.
