Got a text around 1.10 in the afternoon saying a big direct debit was set up in my name and to click a link if it wasn’t me. Of course, I didn’t touch the link and called my bank immediately. The call came from 07396 753033, EE network, I think. Honestly, why do these scammers keep bothering everyone? Just leave people alone. This happened on 17 August 2023.
