Got a message supposedly from EE telling me they can’t move forward with my account but will keep it on hold, even though I’ve never had an account with them. Pretty confusing!

Received a text from this number claiming EE couldn’t process my latest payment and that my account would be suspended unless I updated my details via the link provided. Thing is, I don’t even have an EE account, so it’s clearly a scam. My husband has been dealing with EE lately, so maybe the scammers got his info somehow. Just a warning - don’t click the link!
