I received a call that literally felt like an automated message. It was a female voice generated by a computer, claiming to be investigating a dubious fridge purchase linked to my Amazon account. I was prompted to hit press 1 if I didn’t recognise the transaction, to get in touch with Amazon Customer Support. Quite unsettling, if you ask me!

Got a call from a robotic woman saying my Amazon fridge delivery would show up in the next day, but if I wanted to talk to "Amazon customer support", I had to press 1. Definitely another dodgy scam trying to trick folks.
