Got a text saying I’d added a new payee on my Halifax account, which is odd since I don’t even have an account with them. It asked me to check by visiting some website. Definitely a scam, so I’m blocking the number straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC. They told me some fraud claim was made in my name and said to hit button 1. Sounded dodgy to me.

So, I got a call from Abbey at First Response, right? She was really polite and even asked how my day was going. I told her it wasn’t great because I’d asked them multiple times to take me off their list. Then, suddenly, the call just dropped! Proper rude if you ask me.

Had a few calls back-to-back from different numbers, but the accent sounded like it was the same bloke, Indian or similar. Just hung up on him before he could finish speaking.

Loads of missed calls showing up from numbers starting with 07395. Decided to ring one back, it only rang once then I got this weird beeping noise, like when the line’s busy or something. Seems like they’re just blasting out calls from a computer using a block of numbers all with the same start. Never got to actually talk to anyone though.

Got a call from some accident claims company today. The moment i asked how they found my number, they just cut me off. Didn’t catch me off guard tho. Ive blocked them since.
