I got a call from some bloke who somehow knew my name and that I’d already won a PPI case back in 2018. He tried to convince me he could get me extra cash from that same claim, but wanted 48% cut of anything he supposedly got me. I just had to laugh, told him off, and blocked the sketchy number straight away.

I had a bit of time so I decided to call and see what they were on about. They claimed to have my PPI claim and said they had all my info, which I have no clue where they got it from. On the call, they told me to wait for an email and that I’d need to sign something. But when I asked them to send me something in writing, the lady suddenly changed tone. I never said I agreed to let them handle my claim or to sign anything over phone!

They rang me on 31st of July, and then gave me another call earlier today. Didn’t say a word, just cut off as soon as I answered. Proper annoyance. Best to just block the number.

Someone called saying they were from the National Gateway Service but then just cut off the call right after. Bit strange if you ask me.
